CX is Team Sport: A Day in the Life Series, part IV – Resource Management Department
For CX Day 2021, we are celebrating the impact customer experience professionals make while working as a team. We interviewed several of our BARE colleagues from all the departments that make up the BARE International Team. Peek into ‘a day in the life of…’ several departments, who work together to provide customer experience data and reports to our client partners across the globe.
Today’s series highlights members from our Resource Management team here at BARE International! The key role of our Resource Management (RM) team is to support the Operations team in ensuring the infield projects are fulfilled, providing support and communication to the independent contractors that make up the BARE International field force. Read on to see what a typical day looks like!
Good morning! What did you have for breakfast?
EMŐKE, OPERATIONS MANAGER – RESOURCE MANAGER, EUROPE: Cold hot dog 🙂
FABIAN, RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR, LATAM: Coffee and a cereal bar
SVETLANA, RESOURCE MANAGER, EUROPE: Scrambled eggs and coffee
LEILA, SENIOR RESOURCE MANAGER, EUROPE: Eggs
Provide an example of one client or evaluator interaction you had today.?
FABIAN: We review evaluations available in the Caribbean with various evaluators.
SVETLANA: One of the shoppers wrote, I did a check yesterday, but forgot to take the receipt. But I’ll go now and check again. This was the last day of the Shell project.
What piece of advice would you give to an evaluator?
EMŐKE: Always read the guidelines, questionnaire, and the sticky note carefully and follow the instructions when completing an evaluation to get good grades and better chances to be assigned for shops.
FABIAN: Pay attention to the manuals, with experience everything becomes more simplified
SVETLANA: Read the guideline, open the questionnaire before your visit. If you can)
It’s 5 o’clock! What are you up to now?
EMŐKE: Finish work and then edit some photos from my recent holidays
FABIAN: Contacting Caribbean shoppers to complete a project
SVETLANA: Working!
LEILA: Filling out this survey.
What was the best part of your day?
EMŐKE: When I learned that a recurring hard location got assigned
FABIAN: Assign an extremely complicated location 🙂
SVETLANA: After lunch, I found two new shoppers in Kazakhstan!
LEILA: I have assigned a difficult location that I have been struggling with for weeks.
What do you enjoy the most about working at BARE International?
EMŐKE: That I get to work with so many great people from all over the world
FABIAN: I enjoy the constant challenge and professional growth that this produces.
SVETLANA: All colleagues always support each other. No fights. The company has a friendly communication style. Emőke is especially supportive of me, many thanks to her for that!
LEILA: Teamwork, the nice interaction with the shoppers, you create a bond after a while with some shoppers.
What do you enjoy in your free time?
EMŐKE: Travelling, photography, learning foreign languages, gardening
FABIAN: Cook and watch series. Play simulation video games.
SVETLANA: I like traveling very much. In the last year, I discovered traveling around Russia. It’s fine! But I miss Italy 🙂
LEILA: Spending time with family and friends.
Describe a moment or memory that stands out for you during your time at BARE.
EMŐKE: When I started to be in contact with the Italian evaluators – I got the chance to use the language plus I learned what kind and sociable people they were.
FABIAN: The day I was chosen ‘best partner,’ I did not expect it.
SVETLANA: I love BARE! I feel joy every time I complete a project or start. The most valuable thing is to understand that I am part of a team that improves the quality of communication between people.
